Adjustable breast implants fit for women who often change minds

One of the things that really bother women who opt for breast enlargement surgery is finding out that the outcome is not what they have in mind. It is either that their new boobs are a lot bigger than what they would have wanted or they could be a lot smaller than they wished they would be.
In that case, there is no other choice but to redo the surgery. And this means women are spending more bucks for their desired bosoms, while at the same time, exposing themselves to more risks and complications associated with the operation.
This is the very reason why a new set of breast implants --- adjustable breast implants, were designed by plastic surgeons who understand the current situation. Now, women no longer need to worry about redoing the surgery if they think their implants don’t meet their expectations. They can just go to their plastic surgeon and reduce or increase the size of their busts without a major operation.
ABC News tells the story:
For women with adjustable breast implants, having bigger — or smaller — breasts is an option, at least for the first six months after surgery.
A few months after the surgery, after women have had the chance to "test drive" their new bosoms, they can go back to their surgeons to request that their breasts be pumped up or toned down.
The surgeon will then use a syringe to either inject saline into or draw saline out of the implants through a port hidden beneath the skin where the implant was originally inserted.
"The breast area is usually too swollen during the first two months after the surgery to tell what the final breast size will be," said Jeneby. "The swelling goes down after that period, and patients can see if they are satisfied with their sizes."
Now women can choose to inflate or deflate their breasts without having to fear of more complications. Thanks to this new technique, the burden of getting another surgery is greatly reduced.
