i agree that while there are a lot of obvious benefits to plastic surgery, it's still surgery, so there are also some associated risks and complications. having worked (as a writer) for a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in Long Island breast augmentation, i can say that there are many ways that patients can reduce the risks. here are two big ones:
    * making sure that their surgeon is board certified
    * following their doctor's pre- and post-operative instructions

Aloha! I've been saying that a lot lately. You see, after leaving Hollywood, I found a job in the plastic surgery business, working with a surgeon who performs breast augmentation Hawaii. One thing we talk a lot about in our industry (see, I'm already calling plastic surgery "our" industry, and I'm not even a doctor) is that while "reality" programming can show a prospective patient the positive aspects of plastic surgery, the producers often leave out a lot of the risks, complications and recovery. Guess that side's not as entertaining. The worse part is they're not that bad. Why not show the whole story?
