American television producer and concert promoter David Gest, who considers Michael Jackson as his childhood friend told the public that he has been telling Jackson to stop undergoing cosmetic surgery. He fears that the King of Pop’s plastic surgery endeavors have already gone too far.

    PR-Inside tells the story:

Speaking on British reality TV show I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE, on which he is a contestant, the show producer also confessed to having undergone just one "nose job" himself, despite rumours he has had extensive surgery on his face.

Gest said, "I had one nose job. It was 1980. You don't have to justify it. If you want to have 10... it's your body.

When asked if he had tried to intervene with Jackson, he added, "Absolutely, of course. Would you tell your best friend?"

Obviously, Michael Jackson is not listening to David Gest all these years because if he did, he would not have looked the way he does at present. Well, this goes to show that the call of body dysmorphic disorder is much louder than that of anybody else’s even if it’s your best childhood buddy.

Or perhaps, Gest is not doing his best to really persuade his friend to stop the habit. Either way, it’s Michael taking all the blows anyway.
