David Gest regrets having cosmetic surgery

    David Gest, known for strange look, has finally confessed to the whole world that he was just led by the inspiration of best friend Michael Jackson that’s why he underwent cosmetic surgery.

    Gest, who is now 53, told the press that he went to see Jackson’s plastic surgeon because he was unhappy with his nose.

    'All of a sudden I decided to have a nose job and facelift in one operation, and have cheek implants and a cleft chin a week later,' he says.

    Gest also added that he was so troubled with insecurities about his image and this led him to go under the knife in 1981. But now, he thinks what he did at that time was stupid.

    'I went ahead because I was unhappy. But if I could live my life again, I wouldn't do it,' he tells the Mirror. 'I now realize that I am who I am and it's what's on the inside that counts.'

    Recent photos of David Gest reveal a very unsightly nose; something that you would never believe had gone through a rhinoplasty surgery. It is still huge and bulbous. Perhaps what Gest needs right now is a good rhinoplasty surgeon who knows how to deal with that large nose of his. It is a good thing to finally realize that what really matters is the inside but let’s be real, he needed help and it seems he wasn’t able to get the right one.

    Honestly, it sounds like Mr. Gest will just never really be happy (at least, with his looks). He was unhappy with his look in his twenties, so he opted for plastic surgery. Now, he's in his fifties, and guess what? He's again unhappy with his looks, this time blaming it on plastic surgery. Honestly, I'm not a doctor, but I work with a Las Vegas cosmetic surgeon, so I understand that plastic surgery's mission is to fulfill an individual's idea of perfection (rather than some universal ideal), but like I said, it doesn't sound to me like he'll ever be happy with his looks.
