    As cosmetic surgery techniques are getting better and better, thanks to the innovative physicians and highly efficient equipments available at present, non-surgical techniques are also getting a lot of amazing makeovers lately.

    One interesting development in the non-surgical arena is the procedure called flossing. This sounds more like dentistry than a cosmetic treatment, but this is exactly the term used to describe it. Plastic surgeon Neil Reisman is quite adept at using this kind of cosmetic procedure.

    ABC13 presents some details:

    "Basically this is all about releasing the muscle's attachment to skin," Dr. Reisman explained.

    So Dr. Reisman threads a wire under her cheek and pulls.

    He said, "It's much like slicing cheese it will release the muscle attachment to skin without damaging everything."

    It takes just a couple of minutes to release the right side. He shows us the difference.

    Dot Klein underwent the process and was very pleased with the result. She even said it works better than injectable fillers.

    She said, "The fillers are kind of expensive and they're short term. So this is a great option, the flossing. And it's a much smoother appearance than any of the injectibles."

    For something that only costs about 500 to 1,000 bucks, this procedure sure is going to get a lot of patrons in no time.
