There’s nothing wrong with being bald, but it is a fact that baldness could become some sort of an obstacle in someone’s career, as it had become in the career of Jim Abath, a sports reporter and anchor featured in this Boca Raton News article.

Working in such an image-intensive business environment such as the TV arena has presented Abath quite a few problems. He got turned down for jobs, among other things. But that changed when he decided to undergo hair restoration surgery. He professes that getting a hair transplant was one of the best decisions he ever made.

Hair transplantation has indeed come a long way since its advent sometime in the 1970’s.

Hair transplants used to look really clumsy and obviously artificial back then. And, more often than not, they didn’t do well in the face of environmental factors like wind or rain.

What a difference decades of scientific advancements make.

Hair loss sufferers nowadays have a better chance of getting more natural and healthy-looking hair on their heads, just like Abath. And with more techniques following in the footsteps of cutting-edge procedures like Follicular Unit Micrografting, people with hair loss issues have a wider range of procedures to choose from should they decide to do something about their baldness.

    Hair's the place...

... to find out about successfully battling male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia) - the Guy's Guide to Plastic Surgery. I found the site in a search for male hair loss treatment, and although they just sort of mention a few of the alternatives to surgery (Rogaine and Propecia, as well as exercise and scalp massage), I found the site to be very helpful in presenting me with the basics, or as they say, "just the facts, man" about hair transplantation surgery. Which, btw, was exactly what I was looking for.

Hair Where You Want It, Hair Where You Don't Want It

Isn't it funny how we're always battling with our hair, either trying to keep it in one place or trying to get rid of in in another? Well, i guess funny may not be the right word...how about "frustrating"? You may not be able to successfully battle male pattern baldness, but with Long Island laser hair removal you can get that hair on your back and neck cleaned up. From the women I've talked to, a hairy back is much more of a turnoff than a bald head. Just a thought.
