Jennifer Hudson slams plastic surgery

Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson has some interesting comments about plastic surgery. Well she really did not say anything bad about cosmetic surgery but her comment is actually very much worth this blog post.

The strong-willed and determined Dream Girls star, who somehow embodies Effie’s character in real life, insists that she will never ever go under the knife. She said that she is blessed with natural assets that other Hollywood starlets pay for. So why bother get a fix?

Jennifer says, "I have the height of a model, the breasts that people pay for and the lips that everybody wants, so why should I change?" I would not change myself for anything or anybody. That will never happen."

Pretty confident and somewhat conceited but I think Jennifer has all the right to say those words. She may not be as fit or slim as her counterparts but she does have a look that is just so naturally refreshing.

It would be a huge mistake for her to try to change it. And it is a good thing that she has never planned on doing so. I doubt it if a good plastic surgeon would ever approve of changing anything about Jennifer Hudson. The girl is a knockout and I am not yet talking about her voice.

  • I'd like to see...

...Ms. Jennifer, who has the assets "everybody wants" ("conceited" is being nice, I think) after she has two or three kids. She'd be running for her mommy makeover surgery as fast as you can say "saggy skin and stretch marks."

I just hope she doesn't go to my friend, Dr. McNemar, who does Walnut Creek abdominoplasty . I have a feeling he would not enjoy working with her.

    Amen!

couldn't agree more. like you i work with a dr who does plastic surgery in New Jersey. i don't agree with it when celebrities say ps is bad and no one should do it, but i respect their opinions. it's another thing to rub your natural assets in the face of people who don't have it so good. so you've got it so great. can't others at least have it a little better?

    Truly blessed...

Yeah, i guess Jennifer is truly blessed... she can sing and act and she's tall and has the kinds of breasts and lips women pay for (and men pay for... but that's a post at another, different kind of site). She's a lucky woman. But what about all of the women that weren't born so lucky? There are a group of plastic surgeons i work with who perform lots of breast augmentation in Miami procedures, and you know what? It isn't always about "change" as Jennifer suggests; sometimes, plastic surgery is about maintaining what you have or reclaiming what you had. And is that so bad? Is change even so bad? Change is good.
