Kevin Costner wants no plastic surgery

Following the footsteps of Diane Lane and Kate Beckinsale, Oscar award-winning actor Kevin Costner refuses to have any plastic surgery procedure even if he gets old. It seems that celebrities like these three are getting so sick and tired of their counterparts who are getting makeovers every now and then, that they want themselves to stay away from the trend and somehow make a difference.

The “Bodyguard” and “The Guardian” star believes that all people should be happy with their own body and proud of their age. He insists that he will never choose to have cosmetic work done to change his aging body.

    Spotlighting News tells us more:

"I am never going for a hairpiece, dye or nips and tucks. You will always have to take me as you find me," Costner says.

"We all have our vanity. We can all hear whispers. In my case, they still say: 'He's taller than I thought', but there will come the day when they will say: 'He is much older than I remember him.'"

Kevin Costner is best known for action hits like "The Untouchables" and "The Guardian" and colossal movies like "Waterworld" and "The Postman."

If celebrities start to think the way Costner does, we wouldn’t have to see awful things like Michael Jackson and Jocelyn Wildenstein, who pushed plastic surgery makeovers too far. The only question now is can Costner stand by his word even if ageing take its toll on his handsome face and body? Can he afford to look real ugly by then? That still remains to be seen in the coming years. Let’s see how things turn out. The same goes for Diane Lane and Kate Beckinsale.

  • Kevin Costner and Plastic Surgery.

You can't improve on perfection. He says take me the way I am and there's no question, I would.
I think he's a real hunk and a whole lot sexier than the cute lanky Kevin in movies like Fandango. He's hot and he doesn't need any artificial help.
Good food a workout and this man will be incredible for decades to come. Let's face it, age will not interfere with his lifelong talent and that's a huge part of why I enjoy his movies. The other part is the kindness I seen in his beautiful eyes and his genuine love for children. This is a good man and a little wrinkle here and there, a hair or two more or less, big deal, this doesn't make a person better inside and that's where it counts.
Good for Kevin. It'll be nice to know that we're seeing him and not what some surgeon managed to do with him. I think it would actually take away from the true charm of this amazing talent.
    Way to go Kevin.
    Sandy
