Nicole Richie didn’t have gastric bypass surgery

    Nicole Richie has been alarmingly skinny. Previous photos of her running around the beaches show that Nikki needed to really rethink about what she’s really planning to do with her body. She was way too thin and Earthlings are concerned already.

    Now that Nikki got the hint and started to gain some weight, rumors of her having a reversal of a reported gastric bypass surgery are starting to emerge. And this got Nikki really pissed off.

    Here’s what she said in her Myspace account about the recent rumor:

    So i gain a little bit of weight, and im acussed of having a gastric bypass surgery reversed? Its pathetic of Page Six to insinuate i have done this. Anyone that knows anything about this surgery would know that legally, you must be AT LEAST 100 pounds overweight to even have the surgery done, and is a serious, life changing procedure; not one to throw around as a joke or a rumor. Ive statement I am in the process of putting on weight, and that should be enough. Its a shame to hear that instead of hearing supportive words, someone needs to spin it into some negative, absurd way.

    Geez, leave the girl alone already. We should be happy she is starting to eat now and is getting some weight in the process. Besides, Nicole has never been obese (as far as I know) and she just isn’t qualified to have gastric bypass.

    ok, that's it, i'm sick of people talking about gastric bypass surgery like it's some completely drastic thing to do. and geez, anyone who knows anything about the surgery knows you don't LEGALLY have to be anything...it's up to you and your doctor. you could be only 75 pounds overweight but have alot of other problems and be a good candidate...or you could be 200 pounds overweight and not be a good candidate.

    sheesh. so okay nicole probably didn't have bariatric surgery of any kind. but lots of people have it, and post weight loss plastic surgery too...why be so pissed off that people might wonder...
