NY Plastic Surgeon celebrates 100th buttock implant surgery

Manhattan plastic surgeon Douglas Senderoff is very happy to inform everyone that he has already performed his 100th buttock implant surgery since 2001. If you are wondering why for five years, the number of buttock implant operations performed by Dr. Senderoff hasn’t even reach 500, then read on.

Dr. Senderoff gives his explanation in PRWeb.com:

"Buttock augmentation used to be a novelty procedure but I now receive requests for this operation every day," reports Doctor Senderoff. "When I first started performing buttock implant surgery it was so rare in the United States that American plastic surgeons did not even keep statistics on how many patients underwent buttock augmentation."

The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery revealed that the number of buttock implant surgeries has increased tremendously in the past years. In 2002, there were only 614 procedures performed. However, in 2005, that has propelled to 2,361 butt implant operations; which is still not as impressive as compared to the 364,610 breast implant procedures and 455,489 liposuction procedures.

Still, Dr. Senderoff is quite happy with the way things turned out for buttock implant surgery. At last, the procedure is now considered to be as normal as the other established procedures in plastic surgery. And with that, Dr. Senderoff has been receiving a lot of requests for buttock augmentations lately.
