That Ideal Cheek: Reality Check

You have this spiteful appraisal of yourself in front of just about any mirror in the hallway that your cheekbones are far from ideal. So you wanted cheek implants. But have you tried checking what that ideal cheek is?

In other words were you born with small or sunken cheeks? Your mother has them. Your grandfather lived with them. And your daughter seems to not yet notice.

Your age? Aging causes the fatty tissues of the face to roll forward barring what may be adequate cheek volume. Enough said.

This one is more valid. Maybe you needed to restore cheek volume that was lost due to some traumatic event. Injuries are not uncommon in blunt facial trauma or car accidents.
